Andrew David McIntire, 35

Andrew David "Roo" McIntire was born September 2, 1980 and died January 31, 2016, after a lengthy illness. The first born son of Karl Andrew and Robin (Nelson) McIntire is survived by his parents, his brothers Jason and Levi, his niece Lily, his grandparents Don and Janice Nelson, the love of his life Jessi Setty, aunts, uncles, cousins, his best friends Shannon Staggs and Chris Bond and a host of other family and friends. Roo was preceded in death by his grandparents, David E. and Jeanine McIntire.

He was a graduate of West High School class of '98 and attended Maysville Community College. Roo was the manager of The Gun Barn in Friendship, Ohio. Roo loved his family and football especially his Ohio State Buckeyes, West "Siders", and Northwest Mohawks. Roo coached pee wee football at Northwest and helped his friend Shannon coach the West Union Lady Dragons. Roo was a favorable and positive influence on the lives of his players, especially his little buddy DJ. Roo was a founding member of the "Hard Knocks" fight club. He shared his love of pro-wrestling with his little brother Levi and love of Derby Car racing with his brother Jason. No one has a bigger heart than Roo McIntire.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday February 5, 2016 at the Roger W Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Greg Cooper officiating, interment to follow at Sandy Spring Cemetery.
