Blanchford Claymont Galloway, 73

Blanchford Claymont Galloway, 73 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday January 3, 2018 at SOMC Hospice. He was born October 19, 1944 in West Portsmouth to the late Caney and Onida Adams Galloway. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War and had a Maintenance Company where he lived in California. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Steve, Orville and Earl Galloway and a sister Mary Lockhart.

Clay is survived by 2 brothers; John Galloway of New Boston and David Galloway of Florida, 2 sisters; Anna Owens of New Boston and Susie Galloway of Norwalk, a half-brother Craig Galloway and a half-sister Donna Slusher both of West Portsmouth.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday January 7, 2018 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Military rites will be given by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
