Christopher Scott Bussey, 56

Christopher Scott Bussey, 56 of Portsmouth, went to be with the Lord on Saturday December 23, 2017 at SOMC Hospice. He was born October 18, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida to Ralph and Georgene Kalb Bussey of Portsmouth. He was a former employee of Valley Foods and was a member of First Christian Holiness Church of New Boston.

Along with his parents, Chris is survived by his wife Christine Jordan Bussey who he married on August 1, 1980, a son Christopher Scott Bussey II, 2 daughters; Amanda Bussey and Tiffany (Jason) Carver all of West Portsmouth, a sister; Denise Bussey of Conway, S.C. and 5 grandchildren; Natalie and Kelsey Marsh, Alexis Anderson, Jacee and Kynslee Carver.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 27, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Lorenzo Bentley officiating and interment in Vaughters Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home form 6 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
