Emma Noel, 79

Emma Noel, 79 of West Portsmouth died Sunday October 4, 2015 at her home. She was born June 29, 1936 in Portsmouth to the late James and Ella Light Gray. She was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic Brethren Church. Along with her parents Emma is preceded in death her husband Wilburn “Doc” Noel whom she married March 31, 1954, 4 brothers; David, James, Danny, and Billy Jo Gray.

She survived by 2 sons, Preston Noel Jr. of Middletown, Ohio, Joey K. Noel of Broadway, North Carolina, 4 daughters; Holly Grooms of Middletown, Ohio, Beth Boldman of Otway, Ohio, Merry Ann Burge of Mississippi, Anita Speck of West Portsmouth, one sister Mary Janet Hall of West Portsmouth, a brother, Kenneth Jack Gray of West Portsmouth, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM Wednesday October 7, 2015 at the Apostolic Brethren Church in West Portsmouth, with Clarence Woodbridge and Josh Gray officiating, and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the church Wednesday starting at 11:00AM.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
