Jeffrey Allen Blakeman, 58

Jeffrey Allen Blakeman, 58 of West Portsmouth died Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Marys Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born March 29, 1958 in Portsmouth, to Ralph L. Blakeman who survives and the late Phyllis M. Redoutey Blakeman. Along with his mother, Jeffrey is preceded in death by his wife Debra L. Lowder Blakeman whom he married August 6, 1977, as well as his grandparents and many special aunts and uncles.

Along with his father, he is survived by his daughter Melissa (Michael) Gay of Portsmouth, 2 brothers; Richard (Leah) Blakeman of Barboursville, WV, Tony (Ashley Lore & Neveah Jo) Blakeman of Lucasville. 2 grandchildren; Macey Lynn Gay and Jack Gay III, his niece Kara Blakeman, and his nephews Jack Blakeman and Leuan Estacio. Jeffrey is also survived by special aunts, an uncle, and many very special friends including Terri & Savannah Kleinman, Mike & Barb Lute, and Jeff Deemer.

Jeffrey served in the United States Navy. He was self-employed and owned and operated his own body shop and rental business for many years. Jeffrey was also an enthusiastic antique, knife and vintage memorabilia collector and trader.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM Wednesday September 28, 2016 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating. Interment will be at Scioto Burial Park.
