Norma J. Nichols, 81

Norma J. “Perk” Nichols, 81 of Otway, died Friday September 18, 2015 at SOMC Hospice. She was born May 1, 1934 in Lewis County, Kentucky to the late Bruce and Pauline Webb Bivens. She was a Seamstress and a member of Dry Run Church of Christ. Along with her parents Norma was preceded in death by her husband Earl F. Nichols who she married in August of 1968 and 2 brothers; Stanley E and John L. Bivens.

Norma is survived by 3 daughters; Wendy (Tony) Williams, Lorna Nichols and Sonya (John) Campton, 2 sisters; JoAnn Rollins and Katy Myers, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday September 21, 2015 at Dry Run Church of Christ in West Portsmouth with Mark Seevers officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday starting at 11:00 AM. The family requests that donations be made to SOMC Hospice in Norma’s name. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W.
