Pat was a genuine booster to all the children she came into contact with when I grew up in the neighborhood. She kept me in my majorette outfits. I still have the long cape she so generously made for me. I always think of her kindness when I open the closet and see my cape hanging in there. I cherish it all the more now. Truly a lovely lady.

Dear Lori,

You are in my prayers. I loved your mother with all my heart, from a small child in my teens into being an adult. She was my mom's best friend. I always loved that she made her coffee in an old percolator. We always joked that you could stand a spoon in it because it was so strong.
