Todd Oliver Reutzel, 41

Todd Oliver Reutzel, 41, of Lewis Center formerly of West Portsmouth died Sunday, December 4, 2016. He was born June 27, 1975 in Portsmouth to Oliver “Ollie” (Sue) Reutzel of Portsmouth and Mary Anne Reutzel of Wheelersburg. Todd was a 1993 graduate of Portsmouth West High School, a 1997 graduate of Liberty University and a 2005 graduate of the University of Tennessee Law School. He was a member of the Ohio Bar Association and helped draw up the contract for West Portsmouth Youth Basketball Association to buy the old West Middle School now known as “The Complex,” a sports complex for the youth of Scioto County. Todd was a loving father and enjoyed photography and reading. He was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Cunningham Reutzel, a sister Jenifer Rebecca Reutzel, grandparents, Alfred and Beatrice DuPre Shelton, Walter John Jr. and Dorothy Baer Reutzel.

Along with his parents, Todd is survived by three daughters: Karleigh Nicole Reutzel of Hilliard, Addison Elizabeth Reutzel and Cora Sophia Reutzel both of Lewis Center, two sisters: Tammy Guthrie (Jason) and Susan Elizabeth Reutzel (Carol Bialkowski) all of Wheelersburg, two step-brothers: John Thomas Austin (Charlee) and James Tyler Austin (Kenzie) all of Portsmouth, nieces: Olivia Nichols of Portsmouth and Gabriella Guthrie of Wheelersburg, nephews: Jaydren Guthrie of Wheelersburg, James and Maddox Austin of Portsmouth, great nephew: Asher, uncle: Walter John Reutzel III (Barbie), cousins: Krista Reutzel and her daughter, Maggie and Steve Reutzel (Kris) and their children Logan and Fisher.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday December 15, 2016 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend Evan Fisher officiating. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Todd O. Reutzel Memorial Scholarship and Youth Sports Fund at American Savings Bank in care of Susan Reutzel.
