Manuel Antonio “Tony” Perez, 60

Manuel Antonio “Tony” Perez, 60 of West Portsmouth, died Friday October 13, 2017 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born January 16, 1957 in Vera Cruz, Mexico to the late Arturro and Yolanda Lopez Perez. He was a retired iron worker and a member of Iron Workers Local# 848.

Tony was a very talented man and did a lot for his community and the Latino community. He was a wonderful person. He loved to help people and see them smile. He loved to tell stories and jokes and he never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by many.

Tony is survived by his companion of 21 years; Kim Adkins, 2 sons; Alex (Kayla) Perez of Rosemount and David Adams of Chillicothe, stepson Jake (Hilary) Walters of Cincinnati, 3 daughters; Gretta Herrera of Vera Cruz, Mexico, April (Quincy) Ogborn of Chillicothe, Portia (Tyler) Spradlin of Rosemount, stepdaughter; Ashley (Steven) Kovaleski of Richmond, KY., 4 granddaughters and 5 grandsons and several siblings in Mexico.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in West Portsmouth with Father Nicholas Droll officiating.
