Gary R. Yuhas, 83

Gary R. Yuhas, 83 of Otway, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at SOMC Hospice. He was born May 1, 1940 in Columbus to the late James and Ethel (Trainer) Yuhas.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Linda (Bumgardner) Yuhas; a son, Gary Yuhas; a brother, James Yuhas; and 3 sisters, Marilyn Kearns, Lila Shivley, and Sandra Stein.

Gary was a Concrete Truck Driver for Anderson Concrete in Columbus but he was truly a jack of all trades and quite the inventor. He was a member of the Teamsters Union, where he was a former Union Steward. When he wasn't working he enjoyed spending time with his family, Nascar, and rooting on the Ohio State Buckeyes.  

Gary is survived by a son, Darin Yuhas Jr.; 2 daughters, Gail Aidt and Brenda Anthony; a brother, William Yuhas; a sister, Barbara Kearns; 8 grandchildren, Ashley, Gary, Allen, Darin, Joshua, Tyler, Hunter and Caleb; along with many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
