Wyatt Rusty McCleese Sr, 68 of West Portsmouth, died Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born February 22, 1956 in Vanceburg, Kentucky to the late Dewey and Edith Botkins McCleese.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Glenn and Miquel McCleese and a sister Margaret Gilliam. Rusty was a retired electrician. He loved working on his antique cars and going to Tennessee. But he really loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. Rusty would do anything for anybody.

Rusty is survived by his wife Linda Lemon McCleese whom he married on March 12,1977, 2 sons Wyatt Russell McCleese Jr. and Christopher Lee McCleese, a brother Steve McCleese and a sister, Connie (Tim) Maddix, along with his 3 grandchildren that he loved dearly: Maddie Grace McCleese, Charlee Kate McCleese and Christopher Mason McCleese.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Raymond Russell officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday starting at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
