Adam Daniel Parker

Adam Daniel Parker of West Portsmouth passed away on Thursday, July 19th at Riverside hospital in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 40.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gilbert and Evelyn Vendura and an aunt Gail Galloway.

Born September 23rd, 1977. Adam attended Portsmouth West High School. He was self-employed as a mechanic and had a great knowledge of cars and motorcycles. Adam was a quick-witted fella and loved to make people laugh. He was a huge fan of National Geographic shows and enjoyed learning about the world around him. He had an interest in traveling which he would have loved to have done more of. Adam was fearless and lived life his way. He was also a member of World Harvest Church.

Family meant everything to Adam. He is survived by his mother; Peggy Vendura Whitt and Step Father; Tom Whitt. A brother; Gilbert Joseph Parker and a sister; Gina Howard both of West Portsmouth. He was loved by his daughter; Breana Shae Parker who recently told him that he was going to be a Grandpa, His son; Adam Daniel Parker Jr. and honorary son; Braxton Betts. Adam will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; Cassy Parker, Gibby Joe Parker, Gavin Parker and Seth, Gabby, Asher and Gracie Howard. Adam also had a large extended family of Aunts and cousins that will forever love and miss him.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held for family and friends on Wednesday, July 25th at New Beginnings Church of God, 227 Maple Street in West Portsmouth. Pastor Jim Lens will be officiating.  Anyone wishing to pay condolences is welcome to attend. Guests will be received at 3:00pm. Service starts at 3:30 pm.  Friends and Family will gather at the 5th street Community Center immediately following the service. All are welcome to pay their respects.
