Brenda M. Mershon, 70

Brenda M. Mershon, 70 of West Portsmouth died Friday August 11, 2017 at Crystal Care Center of Portsmouth. She was born March 25, 1947 in West Portsmouth to the late Walter William and Sylvia Diamond Sowards. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son Mark Wells and a daughter Evanda Walker.

Brenda is survived by 4 sons; Ronnie Wells, Walter Wells,  Eddie Otworth and Andy Otworth, 4 daughters; Billy Wells, Rhonda Fowler, Brenda Burchett and Michelle Mershon, 3 brothers; William, Lafe and Larry Sowards, 3 sisters; Jane Colvin, Barbara Horsley and Genevia Richards, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday August 14, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in Mershon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral on Monday starting at 10:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
