Geraldine Smith, 79 of Portsmouth, died Thursday August 2, 2018 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born December 1, 1938 in Scioto County to the late John T. and Stella M. Cade Smith. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Paul Emerson Smith and Charles Wallace Smith, and 2 sisters; Deloris A. Grooms and Alberta L. Stewart.

Geraldine is survived by a brother Donald E. Smith of Fairborn, Ohio, a sister, Betty L. Hood of Cincinnati, 5 nieces; Patsy Moffettt, Brenda Thornton, Carla Conley, Patty Grooms and Tamara Smith, 2 nephews David Smith and Michael Grooms.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday August 11, 2018 at McKendree Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
