Julia Patricia Irwin Boyd, 76 of Portsmouth, passed away Monday June 12, 2017 at SOMC Hospice. She was born November 7, 1940 to the late Lewis Alexander “Zenie” and Madge Carrie Pack. Julia was a 1958 graduate of Portsmouth High School. She also got a degree at Tri State Beauty School. Julia was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Rayford E. Irwin on June 22, 1987, 3 brothers; Kenneth, Bill and James David Pack and one sister Wilda Zeufle of Vero Beach, FL..

Julia is survived by her husband Jack R. Boyd, 2 sisters; Joyce (Paul) Huntington of Washington Court House and Lovel (Dave) Marting of Portsmouth, 2 sons; Troy Frances (Rebecca) Irwin and Kenneth Earl (Christy) Irwin, a daughter Nancy Elaine (Denny) Bays, 2 stepsons; Graig Ross (Rebecca) Boyd and Eric Edward (Sandra) Boyd, a stepdaughter Stephanie Joan Born, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday June 16, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend John Gowdy officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
