Natasha Louise Monk, 20

Natasha Louise Monk, 20 was born June 20, 1997 to Mark and Patricia Monk, a beautiful little red headed girl. At 8 months old she went into a lactate acidosis coma and it caused her to lose her sight, motor skills and swallowing capability. Natasha’s Grey matter of her brain was badly damaged and caused her to have seizures often. Doctors told Mark and Patricia that her quality of life was not expected to be very high and that letting her pass would not be wrong. Mark and Patricia took Natasha home, praying and trusting in God to take care of their only child.

On December 30, 2017 God received Natasha into the Kingdom of Heaven. She received her change from mortality to immortality.

Natasha was preceded in death by her great grandfather John A. Monk, her grandfather Douglas McArther Monk Sr., grandfather and grandmother, William Estil and Ester Mae Adams.

Natasha is survived by her loving parents Mark and Patricia Monk of West Portsmouth, grandmother, Trula Monk and lots and lots of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends and neighbors in West Portsmouth.
