Vernon Richard Deaver, 75

Vernon Richard Deaver, 75 of West Portsmouth died Monday August 28, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born March 30, 1942 in West Portsmouth to the late Richard and Zelma Craft Deaver. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Faye Bolton Deaver whom he married on March 23, 1964, a brother, Robert Deaver, and 2 sisters; Della and Carolyn Deaver.

Vernon is survived by 3 daughters; Beverly (Mike) Stevens, Kimberly (Terry) McNutt, and Vanessa (Justin Cornell) Parr, a son, Jeremy (Melissa) Deaver, 4 sisters; Shelby (Lovell) Ruggles, Barbara (Harold) Kirk, Serena Messer, and Lola Cooley, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, and 8 step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, September 1, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home with Cameron Caseman officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
