Ada Irene Easter, 95

Ada Irene Easter, 95 of Newark, Ohio, ran into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at her home surrounded by her daughters, 2 granddaughters and 2 great grandchildren. She was reunited with her husband Bob of 67 years in what must have been a beautiful scene. She was born December 26, 1928 in Jackson County to the late Frank F. and Sadie J. Adkins Everett.

She was homemaker and member of Alma United Methodist Church.

Along with her parents, Irene is preceded in death by her husband Robert W. Easter, a son in law Robin Richards, a grandson Robb Bussa and 2 sisters; Dorothy McCreary and Geneva Owens.

Irene is survived by a son, Michael L. (Carol) Easter of Lodi, Ohio, 4 daughters: Marianne (Dale) Sturgell of Newark, Barbara (Gary) Westmoreland of West Virginia, Connie Richards and Tina Castle both of Newark, 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Keith Richardson officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
