Ada Mae Brickey, 73

Ada Mae Brickey, 73 of West Portsmouth passed away Friday January 10, 2014. Ada was born August 7, 1940 to the late Howard A. and Mary K. (Tatman) Shaffer. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Tom Shaffer.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.

Ada is survived by her husband, Nelson Preston Brickey, 5 children; Barb (Jerry) Jividen, Linda Noel, Brenda Williams, Mike (Paula) Brickey and Annette Fields, 15 grandchildren; Heather Mullins, Candice Carpenter, Amanda Gemmell,  Jessica Frye, Preston Frye, Aaron Noel, Josh Frye, Tyler Noel, Keith Conley, Autumn Brickey, Mary Brickey, Mark Webb, Adam Rambo, Ira Williams and Kristin Fields, 7 great grandchildren; Addison and Ethan Mullins, Tiffany Frye, Lily Ruggles-Noel, Kenna Emmylou Conley, Brayden Bice and Joshua Gemmell, 3 siblings; Maxine (Jim) Loless, Willa Fenton and Jerry (Carlene) Shaffer.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday January 14, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor Cline McCallister officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
