Albert Franklin Bowens Jr., 82
Albert Franklin Bowens Jr., 82 of Sciotoville, died Thursday February 28, 2013 at his home. He was born July 5, 1930 in Scioto County to the late Albert and Rosa Algood Bowens. Along with his parents Albert was preceded in death by 1 brother and 4 sisters
Albert is survived by 4 brothers; Robert Bowens of West Portsmouth and Fred Bowens of Portsmouth, Ronald Bowens of West Virginia and John Bowens of Chillicothe, a sister Edna Mae Toombs of West Virginia and 2 nieces that were his caregivers, Diane Secrist and Donna Bowens.
There will be graveside services 2:00 PM Sunday March 3, 2013 at Friendship Cemetery with Billy Yearwood officiating. Interment will follow the services. Friends may gather at the cemetery starting at 1:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
