Alberta J. Brown, 86

Alberta J. Brown, 86 of McDermott, died Tuesday November 4, 2014 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Alberta was born May 24, 1928 to the late Albert and Mary Montavon. Alberta was preceded in death by her husband John Brown whom she married on November 25, 1950. Alberta was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Dreama, her sister Mar ie Redoutey and brothers Francis, Vincent and Edwin Montavon.

Alberta is survived by her two sons; Michael (Cheryl) of McDermott and Ronald (Lisa) of McDermott, two daughters; Lisa of West Portsmouth and Donna (George) of West Portsmouth, 5 grandchildren; Amber, John, Michael, Alex and Kalyn and several nieces and nephews. Alberta is also survived by her sisters; Rita Dobbins, Virginia McCall, Bernadine Joyce-Kelso and Genevieve Burchett and a brother Albert Montavon.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday November 7, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Reverend David Young officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
