Alice Pearl Bentley, 71

Alice Pearl Bentley, 71, of Stout died Monday, November 28, 2005 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Alice was born September 11, 1934 in Buena Vista to the late Edward Estel and Daisy Edith Rodgers Holsinger. She was a homemaker and a member of the Buena Vista Volunteer Fire Department serving as the Treasurer for many years.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Willie Lee Bentley. She is
is survived by five sons, Gary Wayne Cornette of Stout, Timothy Lee Bentley of Batavia, Donald Eugene (Beckie) Bentley of Sarasoto, FL, James Edward Bentley of Cedar Rapids, IO, Willie Herbert Bentley of Stout; one daughter Carolyn (Carl) Sue Hayden of Portsmouth; four brothers, James "Jake" Holsinger of Stout, Billy Holsinger of Friendship, Ronnie Holsinger of West Portsmouth, Jackie Holsinger of Lucasville; two sisters, Virginia Fitzgerald of Wheelersburg and Margaret Stevens of Stout; nine grandsons, Timothy, Joshua, Ryan, Noah, and Justin Bentley, Garrett Cornette, and Kile, Jeffrey, and Michael Hayden; two granddaughters Ashlee and Autumn Bentley; and one great grandson, Eric. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Holsinger.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Friday, December 2, 2005 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with J.R. Holsinger officiating and interment in Bentley Family Cemetery at Load, KY.
