Anna Louise Mowrey, 81

Anna Louise Mowrey, 81 of West Portsmouth, died Thursday 12, 2009 at her home. She was born April 2, 1927 in South Portsmouth, Ky to the late William and Bertha Thompson McKown. She was a former beautician and worked for Marting's in the Beauty Shop. She was a member of the Daughter's of American Revolution. Along with her parents Anna was preceded in death by her husband Paul Mowrey, 2 sisters; Darlene Antill and Mary Maas.

Anna is survived by 2 daughters Linda (Wallace) McClurg of West Portsmouth and Marsha (Wayne) Clifton of Jacksonville, FL., 6 grandchildren; Tammy (Kevin) Cunningham of Nashport, OH, Marcy (David) Mannah and Scott Lejzerowicz both of Gahanna and Matthew (Linda) Lejzerowicz of Galloway, Ohio, Dale (Carrisa) Clifton of Indian Trail, NC, Tara (Jeremy) Sharp of Gravois Mills, MO., 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, 1 sister Mattie Ashley of Portsmouth.

Funeral services will be 11:00AM on Monday March 16, 2009 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in Sunset Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8:00 PM on Sunday and 1 hour prior to the service on Monday.
