Anna Lucille Pollitt, 78
Anna Lucille Pollitt, 78 of Lucasville, died Tuesday October 25, 2011 at Heartland of Portsmouth. She was born December 14, 1932 in Peebles to the late Cecil and Flora Fay Thurman Anderson. Along with her parents Anna was preceded in death by a son, William Russell Pollitt, a daughter, Shirley Ann Robinson, 3 brothers Ernest, Robert and Raymond Anderson, 4 sisters Mary Reno, Ruby Royster, Ruth Adkins and Shirley Anderson and 2 grandchildren.
Anna is survived by her husband James William Pollitt, a daughter Katherine (Robert) Leslie of Lucasville, 2 brothers; Vernon Anderson of Greenfield, Oh and Harold Anderson of Latham, 3 sisters; Lillie Mae Gillmore of Piketon, Linda Anderson of Latham and Judy Gardner of Peebles, 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday October 29, 2011 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
