Anna Margaret Snook, 93

Anna Margaret Snook, 93 of West Portsmouth, died Friday, February 20, 2015, at Hempstead Manor. She was born June 4, 1921, in Otway to the late Grover Cleveland and Anna Rebecca Tumbleson Sanderson. Along with her parents Anna was preceded in death by a brother, Paul E. Sanderson. She was a former Teacher, Real Estate Agent, and also worked at the Portsmouth Post Office. She was a member of the Eastern Star, West Union Chapter #246.

Anna is survived by her husband of 74 years, Donald "Budd" Snook, whom she married on May 14, 1940; two daughters, Loretta Jane (Forrest) Benner of McDermott and Bonnie Jean (Gary) Yost of Lakeland, FL.; five grandchildren, Debra Sonner, Lee Benner, Donna Kelly, Stephen Yost, and Joel Yost; 11 great grandchildren, Jessica and Melanie Sonner, Kristin Benner Emmert, Levi, Luke, Sarah and Rebekah Benner, Brett Kelly, Brady, Gavin, and Cole Yost.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2015, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Reverend Paul Gibson officiating and interment in Rushtown Cemetery.
