Anthony Wayne Cooper, 65

Anthony Wayne Cooper, 65 of West Portsmouth, died Monday, September 18,2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was born August 31, 1958 in Portsmouth, to the late Robert Lee Cooper Sr. and Anna Louise Galloway Owens who survives.

Along with his father he was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Ann Cooper, whom he married on February 25, 1980, a son, Anthony Wayne Cooper Jr. and a daughter Phyllis Cooper.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Anna Louise (Manford) Owens, a son Douglas Cooper, 2 daughters: Tonishia Cooper and Phyllisa Smith, a brother Bob (Missy) Cooper, a sister Brenda Cooper, 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 7:00 PM on Friday September 22, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home. Condolences and Donations can be made at www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
