Anthony S. Mershon, 49

Anthony S Mershon "Tony" 49 of Portsmouth, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024 at his home of natural causes. He was born on September 14, 1974 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Lawrence Buford Mershon and Diana Howell Mershon.

Anthony was a football fan and loved watching the Portsmouth West Senators, Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals. Anthony enjoyed spending time with his dog and best friend Diamond.

Anthony is survived by one sister Robin Mershon (the late Mike Hirsch) and brother Lawrence Bumper Mershon (Amber), nieces and nephews; Sheana Mershon, Hagean Mershon (Allen Aeh), Nathan Basham (Shaina), Trenten Bond, Andrew Jones, John Jones, Leon Bub Rigsby and Latosha Rigsby, great nieces and nephews; Landon Rigsby, Jaycen Rigsby, Amelia Aeh and Brooks Basham, many aunts and uncles along with the family of Heather Steele.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, Ohio.
