Arnold Ray Biggs, 62

Arnold Ray Biggs, 62, of Portsmouth, passed Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center.  He was born November 25, 1958 to the late Franklin and Crystal Ellis Biggs.  Along with his parents he was proceeded in death by a son, Bryan Ray Biggs Sr.; a grandson, Joey Journey; a great granddaughter, Matilyn Gills; 4 brothers John, Clifford, Carl, and Dewy Biggs; 4 sisters, Marie Blanton, Rosie Blanton, Alfreda Williams, and Linda Biggs.

He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was always a hard worker, and worked for Teds Towing for 10 years and many years for AAA. He loved fishing, camping, and spending time with all his family. He was very loved by lots of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Arnold is survived by his wife Brenda Kay Franklin Biggs, whom he married April 3, 1982; a daughter, Angel (Matt) Journey; 8 grandchildren, William Journey, Ashlee (Brandon) Gills, LaTisha Journey, Scottie Journey, Alyssa Biggs, Bryan Ray Biggs Jr., Bryan Paul Biggs, and Emmitt Lee Biggs; 7 great grandchildren, Shawn (Haley) Howard, Devin Fitzpatrick, Kason Gills, Karson Davis, Kennlee Journey, Kayne Journey, and Raylynn Stacy; a great-great grandson on the way, Oaklee Howard; 3 brothers, Junior (Tina) Biggs, Terry (Bonnie) Searls, and Harold (Julie) Thacker; 2 sisters Nancy (Bill) May and Marge Tackett; and several friends, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00PM Sunday October 17, 2021 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Danny Thompson officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
