Mrs. Barbara Ann Asbury, 56, passed away Friday, January, 7, 2022 in York, SC. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio,

Mrs. Asbury was preceded in death by her father, William Wilson; mother, Nancy Chinn Scalf; her step-father, Winford "Gene" Scalf; brothers, Steve and Jeff Scalf. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis Asbury; son, Jason Boyd (Krista) of Portsmouth; daughters, Laura Haddox (Garrett) of Columbia, MS and Mishell Gillespie (Eric) of Rock Hill; grandchildren, Nathan, Haley, and Addison Boyd, Savannah Frey, Makayla and Dillon Christenburg; brothers and sisters, Steve, Chuck, Johnny, and Wanda Wilson, Ted, Ronnie, and Pat Scalf, and Dave Brannon; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Family and friends will start gathering at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
