Barbara Ann Journey, 66

Barbara Ann Kammer Journey 66 of West Portsmouth went walking with the Lord on Thursday July 2, 2009. She was born July 7, 1942 in Scioto County the daughter of the late William and Frances Lykins Kammer. As we celebrate her life, she is remembered by her husband John Roger Journey, whom she married December 5, 1961. The proud mother of four children. A daughter, Tamela Lynn, 3 sons; John Gregory (Mary-ann), Jody Lee (Annette) and Todd Roger (Francene). She was the grandmother of Jennifer Renee (Holland, Kaeleigh and Wyatt), Tabitha Suzanne (Erica) , Jennifer Lynn, Ashley Renee and Kimberly Hope. She was preceded in death by an infant grandson Dylan Roger. Among survivors were many brothers and sisters; Thelma, Frieda, Dorothy, Cecil, Billie, Delores, Robert, Charles and Tommy. In contribute to her life a special mention of Audrey Ferguson and many other friends and family.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday July 7, 2009 (Her Birthday) at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jimmy McCullough officiating and interment in Stoney Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM on Monday and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
