Barbara Joanne Metzger, 73

Barbara Joanne Metzger, 73 of West Portsmouth died Monday, January 1, 2018 at Grant Medical Center.  She was born May 21, 1944 in Dover, Delaware to the late Flint Oliver Holt and Hazel Shope Summers.  She was retired from the State of Ohio as an Auditor.  Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Michael Metzger Sr.

Barbara is survived by a daughter; Angela Metzger, a son; Roy Michael Metzger Jr., 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a sister; Carolyn Yeager, and many other siblings.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Roger W.
