Barbara Sue Slone, 65
Barbara Sue (Branham) Slone, 65 of Prestonsburg, Ky., formerly of West Portsmouth, Ohio, died Saturday August 13, 2011 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.. She was born July 4, 1946 in Prestonsburg to the late Alvin Bruce and Theda Dale Hall Branham. Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband James Robert Slone in 2007, 3 brothers; Alvin Branham Jr., Danny and Donnie Branham and a sister Sylvia Jean Branham.
Barbara is survived by a daughter Tabbie Renee Meredith of Prestonsburg, 2 brothers; Bobby Dean Branham of Prestonsburg and Basil Branham of Portsmouth, 6 sisters; Mary Holderby, Sharon Elliott, Dolores Webb, Veda Gratehouse and Pamela Hall all of Prestonsburg and Patricia Porter of Portsmouth, 2 grandchildren Nicholas Brady Meredith and Shelby Lynn Meredith both of Michigan along with many nieces and nephews.
There will be graveside services 1:00 PM Thursday August 18, 2011 at Slone Cemetery in David Kentucky. There will be visitation from 5 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
