Barbara "Barb" Kay Stephenson, 62
Barbara "Barb" Kay Stephenson, 62 of New Boston died at her home on Tuesday, July 4, 2006. Barb was born October 3, 1943 in Rarden to the late Oscar and Effie Newman Davis. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Barb is survived by her son Jeffrey "Bo" Hubbard (Penny) of New Boston; a brother Robert (Dottie) Davis; two sisters, Charlene (Herb) Kinniman and Margie (Ron) Evans; four grandchildren, Nichole Hubbard, Danielle Hubbard Conkel, Sarah Montgomery, and J.D. Jones; four great grandchildren, Breanna Conkel, Isiah Conkel, Gavin Montgomery, and Braiden Montgomery and many other friends, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Junior Davis; and three sisters, Betty Ann Davis, Christine Throckmorton, and Mary Barlow.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, July 8, 2006 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Debbie Baer officiating and interment in Newman Cemetery at Rarden. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
