Bertha F. Schackart, 65
Bertha F. Schackart, 65, of West Portsmouth died, Friday, January 26, 2007 at her residence. Bertha was born November 30, 1941 in Cincinnati to the late Paul E. and Nellie Wilson Bond. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in West Portsmouth and was a Walmart Employee. Along with her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Schackart, March 31, 2003.
Bertha is survived by a son Greg (Jennifer) Schackart of Portsmouth; two daughters, Cathy (Danny) Swords of Ransom, KY and Vicki (David) Napierkowski of Portsmouth; two brothers, Bobby Bond and Donnie Bond both of Otway; one sister, Carol Sue (Ralph) Wheeler of Cincinnati and the three Loves of Her Life, her grandchildren, Cody and Adam Swords, and Andrew Schackart.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday January 30, 2007 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in West Portsmouth with Father David Young officiating and interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral in West Portsmouth from 4 PM to 8 PM on Monday with the recitation of the Rosary starting at 8PM.
