Bertha Alma Maynard, 92

Bertha Alma "Bert" Maynard, 92, of West Portsmouth, died on October 30, 2017, at SOMC Hospice. Bert was born on June 4, 1925, to the late Wilburn and Ida Cassidy Sparks. She was retired from Marting's and was a lifetime member of Rehoboth Mission Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harry Rodney "Rod" Maynard, 2 sons; Gregory Lynn Maynard and Larry Rodney Maynard, 3 brothers; Walter Donald Sparks, Jesse Sparks, and Franklin Sparks, and 2 sisters; Delores Henthorn, and Gladys Stamper.

Bert is survived by a daughter, Patricia (Ron) D'Epifanio of Fairfield, OH, daughter in law whom she lived with Teresa Maynard of Stout, 5 grandchildren; Lynn D'Epifanio, Craig (Stephanie) D'Epifanio, Melissa (Doug) Davis, Greg (Jennifer) Maynard, Jason Maynard, 11 great grandchildren; Anthony D'Epifanio, Victoria (Travis) Senger, Tara D'Epifanio, Jenna D'Epifanio, Hannah Maynard, Alexis (Austin) Adkins, Kelsey Davis, Josh Davis, Jack Cremeans, LT Maynard and Mikinia Maynard and 4 great-great grandchildren; Whitmore, Vincent, Scotlyn, Liviana.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday November 2, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Joe Nelson officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
