Betty L. Leadingham, 71
Betty L. Leadingham, 71 of Portsmouth died Thursday November 4, 2010 at SOMC Hospice. She was born August 29, 1939 in Greenup Kentucky to the late Noah Alfred and Mary Irene Fox Waddell. She retired from Southern Ohio Medical Center, was a member of Candy Run United Baptist Church of Lucasville and the Red Hat Society.
Betty is survived by her husband David Leadingham who she married on February 27, 1960 in Greenup, a son Mark E. Leadingham of Portsmouth, 2 daughters; Kathy Schiltz and Carolyn Grooms both of Portsmouth, a brother Kenneth E. Waddell of Myrtle Beach, S.C., 3 sisters; Joanne Parker of Portsmouth, Mary F. Madden of Myrtle Beach and Shirley Hanley of Twin Valley, 3 grandchildren; Justin Schiltz of Wheelersburg, Ryan Grooms and Sarah Grooms both of Portsmouth, and a great grandson Landon Schiltz
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday November 8, 2010 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Pastor David Thompson officiating and interment in Memorial Burial Park. Friends may call at he funeral home from 2 to 8:00 PM on Sunday and 1 hour prior to the service on Monday. www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
