Betty Louise Meade, 76

Betty Louise Meade, 76 of Portsmouth, died Tuesday May 13, 2014 at SOMC Hospice. She was born November 26, 1937 in West Portsmouth to the late John and Faye Elmore Meade. Betty worked at Green's for 38 years and at Marting's for 5 years. She loved her flowers and playing Bingo. Along with her parents Betty was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Eugene, Clyde and Robert Meade and 2 sisters; Phyllis Kempf and Opal Hall. Betty is survived by a brother, Ronald Meade of South Bend, IN., a sister Linda Shope of Wyandotte, MI. along with several nieces and nephews. Betty was taken care of by her special niece Mary Anne Hughes and her family. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday May 16, 2014 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Rase Martin officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday starting at 11:00 am.
