Betty Waughtel, 80
Betty Lou Waughtel, 80 of West Portsmouth died Sunday June 17, 2012 at her residence.
Born August 23, 1931 in Chillicothe to the late Edward and Evelyn Woodbridge. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; William E. Waughtel Sr, 2 sons; William E. Waughtel Jr, and Steven Waughtel, and a brother Bill Woodbridge.
Betty is survived by 4 daughters; Cindy Cooley, Karen Pollitt , Barbara Cooley all of West Portsmouth and Pat Grubb of Morehead KY, a son; John Waughtel of Portsmouth, a brother; Bob Woodbridge of Texas, 2 sisters; Dorothy Demell of Chillicothe, Mary Pierce of Cincinnati, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 special children in her life; Lindsey Brewer, Haly Lake, and Sierra Fletcher, along with several close friends; Carolyn Faron, and Lee and Stephanie Lake.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday June 20, 2012 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Kathy Howard officiating and interment in Vaughters Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00am until the funeral hour. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
