Billy Eugene Holsinger, 67

Billy Eugene Holsinger 67, of Friendship died Wednesday January 13, 2010 at his home. He was born April 21, 1942 in Portsmouth to the late Edward and Daisy Holsinger. He was retired from Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry Shawnee after 21 years of service. Along with his parents Billy was preceded in death by a daughter Debra Sue Holsinger, a sister Alice Bentley, 2 brothers; Jake and Bobby Holsinger and 2 infants.

Billy is survived by his wife Peggy A. Flowers Holsinger who he married on March 16, 1968 in Piketon, 2 sons; Kevin (Missy) Boyd of Sciotoville and Billy (Denise) Holsinger Jr. of South Shore, KY, 2 daughters; Marsha (Steve) White of North Carolina and Cheryl (Jeff ) Holsinger of West Portsmouth, 6 grandchildren; Nick, Zach, Tyler, Cameron, Jaycee and Gage, 2 sisters; Virginia Fitzgerald of Minford and Margaret (Roger) Stevens of Buena Vista, 2 brothers; Jackie Holsinger of Lucasville and Ronald (Susie) Holsinger of West Portsmouth, along with many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday January 16, 2010 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with J.R. Holsinger officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
