Brenda Kay Biggs, 66

Brenda Kay Biggs, 66 of Portsmouth, passed away Wednesday September 13, 2023 at Portsmouth Health and Rehab. She was born February 6, 1957 in Marion to the late Alvin and Margurite Knapp Franklin.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Arnold Ray Biggs, whom she married on April 3, 1982, a son Brian Ray Biggs Sr., grandson Joseph Lee Journey, great granddaughter Matilyn Gills, 3 brothers: Danny, Alvin and Jim Franklin and 2 sisters; Yvonne Thomas and Stephanie Stith.

Brenda is survived by a daughter, Angel (Matt) Journey, 6 grandchildren, William Journey, Ashlee (Brandon) Gills, LaTisha Journey, Scottie Journey, Alyssa Biggs, Bryan Ray Biggs Jr., 7 great grandchildren: Shawn (Haley) Howard, Devin Fitzpatrick, Kason Gills, Karson Davis, Kennlee Journey, Kayne Journey, and Raylynn Stacy; a great-great grandson Oaklee Howard, 2 sisters: Patricia Meade and Monna Jean Leonard, 1 brother Tony Franklin, special niece Rose Cantrell, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 15, 2023 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday starting at 11:00 AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
