Burton T. Colvin, 92

Burton T. Colvin, 92 of New Boston, died on Sunday December 5, 2021 as a result of a car accident. He was born November 16, 1929 in Blue Creek to the late Lewis M. and Edna Cooper Colvin. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Sean Colvin, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Burton was a United States Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War. He was a nurse for 15 years and a member of 3:16 Ministries.

Burton is survived by 2 sons; Eugene (Minta) Colvin and Christopher Colvin, a daughter Collette Colvin, a sister Helen Riffe, grandchildren: Sarah Ivers, Nick Colvin, Abbey (Larry) McRoberts, Joe (Caitlyn) Colvin, Kate (Nate) Berry, Jake (Julea) Colvin, Kassie Colvin, Keith (MJ) Herrin, Karey (CJ) Herrin, and Kohle (Riley) Herrin, and 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday December 15, 2021 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Mark Bales officiating and interment in Manchester Cemetery.
