Carl Douglas Jenkins, 48

Carl Douglas Jenkins, 48, of Otway went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Carl was born June 2, 1959 in Portsmouth to the late Hager Jenkins and Hazel White Jenkins who survives. Carl was acting Pastor and attended Community House of Praise in Otway, and worked for Tom's Installation in Celina, OH.

Carl is survived by his wife Sandy Green Jenkins; two sons, David (Lisa) Ratcliff of Lake Park, GA, Robert Fitch of Portsmouth; two daughters, Mandy (Shad) Brickey of McDermott, Amanda Fitch of Portsmouth; three brothers, Charles W. Jenkins, Robert Michael Jenkins, and David Ray Jenkins; three grandchildren, Marie Darnell, Shad Brickey II, Maggie Brickey; and also survived by many close friends. Carl was preceded in death by his Father Hager Jenkins; three brothers, James H., Ben Hager and Dan Les Jenkins; and a nephew Benny Ray Jenkins.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Community House of Praise with Paul Holbrook officiating and interment in Jenkins Family Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday and at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday, July 23.
