Carlotta Jeanine Robinson, 52

Carlotta Jeanine Robinson, 52 of Friendship died Monday September 27, 2004 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born July 4, 1952 in Portsmouth to Robert S. and Charlotte Clark Bentley of South Shore.

Jeanine was a teacher at Portsmouth West High School where she has been teaching for 30 years. She was a 1970 graduate of McKell High School and a 1974 graduate of Morehead State University where she obtained a B.A. and M.A. in education and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church where she was an active member of the Friendship United Methodist Womens Group II. She was the founder of the Red Hat Society, West High School Chapter, ( School Marm Diva's) and was a Longanberger Consultant for over 12 years.

Along with her parents Jeanine is survived by her husband Gary E. Robinson who she married on Dec 30, 1977 in Wise, Virginia. 2 daughters; Alicia Mae Robinson and Sheena Renee Robinson both of Friendship. 1 brother; Rob (Julie) Bentley of Versailles, KY, 2 sisters; Sherry K (Gary) Adkins of Morehead, KY and Annette (Larry) Tussey of South Shore, her grandmother Darlene Ruggles of South Shore, 3 nephews and a niece; Jason Adkins, Ryan Adkins, Les Tussey and Lindsay Bentley. She is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday September 30, 2004 at Friendship United Methodist Church with Reverend Matthew Brooks officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Burial Park .Friends may call from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
