Carol Marie Friend, 60
Carol Marie Friend, 60 of Columbus a former West Portsmouth resident, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at the home of her daughter in Columbus. Carol was born April 2, 1947 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Albert and Mary Jane Egerton Brown. She retired from Sally Beauty Supply Company.
Carol is survived by one son, Garrett Pittenger of Columbus, OH; three daughters, Sandra Kay Friend, Kathy Jo Friend and Carol Sue Toles all of Columbus; two brothers, Albert Brown, Jr. of West Portsmouth and Eugene Brown of Centerburg, OH; three sisters, Dian Rawlins of South Webster, Brenda Akers of Portsmouth, and Helen Harris of Apache
Junction, AZ, three grandchildren: Edward Lee Toles, Jr., Olivia Marie Toles, and Aiden Garrett Pittenger.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Sandy Hampton officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com .
