Carol Frances Hatfield, 71

Carol Frances Grate Hatfield, 71 of West Portsmouth, died Monday October 17, 2016 at Pristine Senior Living Center in Portsmouth. She was born April 11, 1945 in Marion Ohio to the late Samuel and Evelyn Mattison Vansickle. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands; Paul Grate and Joseph Hatfield and a son Paul Henry Grate.

Carol is survived by a son Keith Alan (Marie Shappard) Grate, a sister Patricia Louise White, daughter in law Mary Grate, 5 grandchildren; Tara Grate, Paul (Kara Sapp) Grate Jr., Ashley Grate, Brittany (Josh Beamonstone) Grate and Bethany, 6 great grandchildren: Bailey, Isabella, Sofia, Hailey Paul III and Ohanna.

Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Saturday October 22, 2016 at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott with Chaplain Jason Coriell officiating. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery starting at 2:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
