Carolyn Sue Journey, 70

Carolyn Sue Journey, 70 of West Portsmouth, died Monday, July 24, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born January 31, 1947 in Portsmouth to the late William Allen and Gladys Mae Evans McGraw. She was a former school bus driver for Washington Nile and worked with Nile Township EMS and Fire for over 20 years. She had many accomplishments in life, to many to mention and she was very loved by many.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Rufus Allen McGraw, 2 sisters; Mary Elizabeth Martindale and Gladys Marie McGraw.

Sue is survived by her longtime companion, Terry King, a son, Clovis Allen Journey, 2 stepdaughters; Nicole Bentley and Teri Ferry, a brother, Junior Lee McGraw, 4 sisters; Violet Lucille Smith, Phyllis Jean Hawthorne, Wanda Lee Adkins, and Juanita Mae Forbey, 2 grandchildren; Levi and Brandon Bentley, and a special friend, Brian White.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Robert Coffey officiating and interment in Friendship Cemetery.
