Carolyn Lou Waughtel, 70

Carolyn Lou Waughtel, 70 of West Portsmouth died Wednesday June 17, 2015 at SOMC Hospice. She was born August 19, 1944 in Portsmouth to the late Gale and Lovella Hoover Ratliff. She was a retired cosmetologist. Along wither her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James H. Waughtel.

Carolyn is survived by 2 sons; Michael S. Arney of West Portsmouth, and James (Lisa) Arney II of California, 1 brother Harold Ratliff of Tennessee and a sister Brandy Alston of Portsmouth, 4 grandchildren; Heather (Joshua E.) Arney-Brown of Georgia, Tabitha (Andrew L) Gilliland of Kentucky, Analise Dempsey and Bronson Dempsey both of California and 3 great grandchildren Kayson Arney-Brown, Kieran Arney-Brown, and Amelia J. Steele.

Funeral services will be 1:00PM Saturday June 20, 2015 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jason Coriell officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park . Friends may call the funeral home on Saturday starting at 11AM. Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com
