Cathy Ann Hicks Shaw, 64

Cathy Ann Hicks Shaw, 64 of West Portsmouth, died Saturday February 10, 2024 at SOMC Hospice. She was born August 28,1959 in Portsmouth, to the late Donald Ray and Juanita Bell Givens Hicks.

Cathy was a 1977 graduate of Portsmouth West High School, she was a former Girl Scout and honorary member of the Portsmouth Motorcycle Club. She was currently the Senior Sales Account Representative for Premier Kites and Design.

Cathy is survived by her husband Joe Shaw, whom she married on February 13, 1978, 4 sisters; Sandy (Everett) Pollard, Dona (Chris) Dunham, Penny Hicks Piatt (Jeff Pollock), Tami Carter, a father-in-law, Gary Shaw, a sister- in- law, Tammy (Pete) Bowen along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and her favorite bird "BB Rae".

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with Roy Bennett officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
