Charles Ray Humphreys, 65

Charles Ray Humphreys, 65 of West Portsmouth, died Wednesday March 16, 2016 at his home. He was born November 22, 1950 in Portsmouth to the late Charles E. Humphreys and Kathleen Baber Humphreys who survives. Along with his father he is preceded in death by an infant son Jason C. Humphreys, and 2 brothers; Walter and Robert Witt. Charles was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, was a Boilermaker and a member of the Boilermakers Local 105.

Along with his mother Charles is survived by 2 sons; Joshua Kane (Heidi) Humphreys of Birmingham, Alabama, Christopher Steven (April) Humphreys of Cincinnati, Ohio, 4 grandchildren; Zachary (Kiya) Humphreys, Emily Humphreys, Lucy Humphreys, and Grant Humphreys, 1 great grandchild Zoreah Humphreys, 1 brother Joseph Humphreys of Franklin Furnace, 2 sisters; Cheryl Slusher of Lucasville, and a half sister Betty Wilder of West Portsmouth.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday March 19, 2016 at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Chris Oiler officiating. Interment will be in Scioto Burial Park with graveside military rights by the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
