Charles Richard Voiers, 64

Charles Richard Voiers, 64 of West Portsmouth went to his eternal home on May 13, 2015 at SOMC Hospice. He was born December 21, 1950 to the late Raymond and Faye Ison Voiers of Franklin Furnace. Charles attended Green Local Schools, served in the U.S. Army, retired from OSCO Industries in Portsmouth, and was a member of the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Cullum Voiers, 3 sons; Bret Voiers of Columbus, Scott Voiers of West Portsmouth and Eric (Jessica) Voiers of Portsmouth, 3 Stepchildren, Tammy Cullum and Jerry Cullum of West Portsmouth, and Angie Veach of Portsmouth, 7 grandchildren; Brandon Voiers, Chelsea Kane, Jarett Voiers, Tanner, Brady, McKylie and Cam Voiers, 1 great grandson, special granddaughter Hailey Greer, and a very special friend Matt Brown. Charles was also loved by his brothers, Don (Patty Jo) Voiers, Larry (Carla) Voiers both of Franklin Furnace, Orville (Rose) Voiers of Deer Park, Texas; sisters, Sandra (John) Jones of Alexander City, Alabama and Theresa (John) Adams of Tijersa, New Mexico. He also left behind several nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SOMC Hospice in Charles's name.
